Development Background

I created this game to push the limits of what I could achieve with Claude. To be clear: I have zero coding experience. Everything here came from two days of back-and-forth prompting with Claude until I got it just right.

Is it exactly where I want it to be yet? No, not quite. But without AI assistance, I could never have built anything like this on my own—and if I had somehow managed it, it would've looked like absolute garbage and probably wouldn't have worked at all.

What is the Role-Exchanger?

In the real world (outside of fiction), the Role Exchanger only existed in those classic Blogspot TG caption posts. Those captions always fascinated me, and I thought the concept would make an amazing interactive story. But with something so complex, random, and intricate—and me having no coding skills—it seemed impossible.

Thanks to Claude and the API tools, I was finally able to bring it to life exactly as I always imagined. I wanted to share it with everyone!

Fair warning: Running a long game will cost around $0.25 (most of that from the image generator). In all my testing with Grok, I never even hit $0.50. If you're interested in trying other model options or expansions, let me know—I'm open to adding more!
